Default Ford Pass

I’m having trouble trying to reactivate my Ford Pass after it was accidentally cancelled. I’ve tried everything in the help and those ridiculous chats. Nothing worked including removing the truck and again it refuses to connect.

this may not be the correct place to ask this question but, if not, please direct me to where I can get that information.

Have you tried doing a full master reset?

Yes, I did a master reset on the Ford Pass Connect and its still a no go.

I mean a master reset on the truck itself. This is done using the touchscreen on the truck.

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Choose General.
  3. Press Reset.
  4. Select Factory Reset.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the factory reset.

No I have not. I was unsure what all that reset on the truck.

it will reset all the infotainment settings, wipe all phone data out and radio presets, along with fordpass info stored in the truck

I would try the master reset. If you still can't get Fordpass to connect, I would check for any codes the truck may be reporting in the TCU or GWM to see if there's anything there that can be associated with connectivity. I would ask for your VIN to check codes, but if Fordpass is not connected, it is not reporting any data to Ford so I would not be able to see anything.

How long did you wait. It is not always immediate. I did the same thing a couple years ago and it took a few hours, it might have been over night.

Have you removed and reinstalled the Ford Pass App from your phone?
