Something to be a where of.
The Halogens Lamps have a special number 9105 that has a tip shield on the Bulbs so they don't blind on coming traffic
The High beam bulbs 9005 are the same bulb but with a different Tip shading.
Some move the head lite bulbs down to that location is a no-no just because they fit and are brighter.
Then some will replace with a high power lamp that spreads light all over and blinds oncoming traffic. that is also a no-no.
I see this on trucks at least once a week.
All the lighting needs to be spread controlled and correctly adjusted.
Good luck.

i installed an aux fog light, mainly as wanted a yellow to help for visiability. I never adjusted the stock fogs, which agree they appear aimed too low, but again are designed to be unde the "fog layer". Here are some pics. To take them I was standing in the door of the truck to give reference, from sitting position in the truck dont really see the factory fog lights. Pic 1 headlights, pic 2 headlights with factory fogs (can see how they are aimed low to be under the "fog layer", pic 3 morimoto 2 banger fogs, pic 4 headlights, factory fof and aux fog all on.

We just had some pretty foggy weather for a week, you will appreciate that your low beam and fog lights are pointed low in foggy weather, they will blind you if pointed high.
F-150s are famous for coming from the factory with the fog lights essentially pointed uselessly at the ground.
Like many others, I’ve adjusted my fog lights up, not so high that they replace the low beam headlights, but enough so they do indeed function as true fog lights.

21 Lariat 502a. Anyone else notice the LED fogs turning off and on seemingly on their own while lights are in auto. I know they don’t stay on when the auto high beams or anti glare kick in and I’m not talking about the cornering light feature. Normal driving in traffic on highway with lights in auto and fogs on I can see fogs randomly turning off and then a few minutes (or seconds) later they cycle back on. Can happen multiple times along a half hour drive. If I put lights in manual mode and turn fogs on they are rock steady. Anybody experience this and figure out what is happening? Thanks

Is there. Bambi mode in Forscan where you can program the fog lights to stay on when the high beams are on? I know it is a hint on the Bronco

Are you referring to when you turn a corner? Mine does this. When I turn to the left...the left fog light comes on and turns off when I straighten the wheel. Same with the right side when turning right.

I'm still wondering how to 'shut headlights off' to set fogs.

They only operate with normal headli, not brights, on.

their only use afaik, after two years is to illuminate the roadway you are turning on to. Or if you are on a narrow road at night.
