I think this is the answer to why there are no anchors.

You can get these:
Amazon.com: JIFFYY 4 Car Round Floor Mat Clips for Ford: Automotive Amazon.com: JIFFYY 4 Car Round Floor Mat Clips for Ford: Automotive
, If you want to install cheap matts that do not come with clips.
I can't vouch for them , I just did a quick google search. I bought Weather Tech and they came with the clips that adhere to the vinyl flooring, but they stay in place even when not snapped in.

There's no carpet, what are the floor mats for? Floor mats are made to protect carpet. And vinyl is usually an upcharge. I wish I had got it. Then I wouldn't need these STUPID floor mats!

I have floor mats on the vinyl because it makes it easier to clean.

No matter what is on your floor, your heels will wear into the surface over time. I'd rather destroy some cheap floor mats than the rubber flooring. Also helps to keep the foot trash contained for easy removal.

I use these in my 2019 F-150!! After and before pictures they fit very nicely and don't move around much on the Vinyl floor!!
