If this is the case, then I recommend the FDRS route. That is software from 2021. It is not normal that your truck is that far behind. Message me the VIN. You said you connected Ford app now?

Just talked to my dealer. At my appointment in 2 weeks for the axle recall they will look at updating my software level. Hopefully they can push some other updates at that time. Or at least, with the latest Sync version I can get updates to start happening.

Got to the dealer at 7:00 this morning and was out the door at 8:15 with the new axles.

Their software tech said my truck was fully updated and nothing was required. I told him I was on Sync software from 2021 and he said that is a Ford OTA update and not a dealership update. From what he could tell when plugging in my truck is up to date.

Need to wait and see if updates happen. To be fair, I only activated my FordPass a few weeks ago but nothing has happened since.

Pretty impressive to see the axle swap done in about an hour.
