That's a good idea.

 

The 21+ fender badges are easy to pull off and then paint or Plastidip.

 

Ford sells an AirDesign set on their parts website. I got that along with a primer/paint/clearcoat kit from Amazon and did it myself. I think the "my time is worth $0" cost was $110 in paint and sandpaper, and if I had it to do over again I would just bring it to the folks who did my hood. I really like the way they look, but I'm going for a blacked out look so I wasn't bothered by having the same black gloss finish everywhere.

 

Pics on the truck? That is my plan for the tear drops!
