My 2022 Iconic Silver Lariat came in yesterday (Order 3/3/22). I will be picking the truck up Tuesday, but I noticed something that was interesting as I was at the dealer yesterday. The truck was ordered with the Black Appearance Package. The badging on the fender is plain black plastic, nothing on it. Looks strange. The person doing the check in for the car said there is something supposedly coming in to add in this area. Has anyone heard anything like this?

My Lariat I picked up on Wednesday is the same way. According to my dealer, supposedly they are going to replace them when the parts come in.
No time frame was given. I intend to keep them to their word, I don't like the looks of the plain badge

 

Yes this will be commonplace for the next 6-8 months. Per my salesman friend
