I get false signals all over the place. Some times it's the front, some times it's an entire side, and occasionally the rears chime in. It seems to happen much more under colder conditions. The false signals seem to come in waves.... maybe every day for a few days then none for a week or more. Mostly it's during backing up.

I've learned to live with it, and is one of the reasons I'm thinking of getting a personalized license plate that says GLITCHY.

Any way to disable just the outer most sensors circled in red below? I don't have "Active Park Assist 2.0" so I don't see the point in these sensors and they seem to be the ones giving me issues <6mph with false readings.

Is it only the outer sensors on your or all of them? Mine seems to be only the 4 corner sensors.

Mostly the front right corner, but when the entire side lights up I'm not sure which battery of sensors are going off.

3/12/24 update: I took my truck to a second dealer since the first dealer refused to look at it a 2nd time. Second dealer replaced two rear outer sensors circled in red below and one is still not working. This time there is an intermittent orange alarm instead of a constant red alarm when in reverse.

Video showing the issue with my rear parking sensor. It is detecting obstructions that are not there.

3/14/2024 update: dealer said it's a bad control module and they're replacing it tomorrow.

I will say the Ford back up sensor system is really good. I have a Nissan work van and it’s so bad a pebble will set it off. It cries wolf so often it’s useless

3/15/2024 update: dealer says they are going to replace a $4,100 driver control module next.
