Default Factory 18" AT Tires

I am in the process of ordering a 2022 Lariat 4X4 not FX4 on 18" wheels. What AT tires are people seeing on their trucks? Any to really avoid (trade out), or favorites? Mine is mostly a pavement princess with some gravel roads thrown in regularly. My 4th F150 just wondering what I am likely to see. Thanks.

Great minds think alike. I just asked almost the exact same question above.

According to tire rack they use 4 different OE tires. Not sure what determines that

I got the 2nd tire down (above) on my 18in stx last year. Only had the truck for 133 miles plus no rain during that time to give an opinion.

Thanks for the posts. Interesting that Tire Rack mention those 4, the first 2 are All Terrain, the second two are both All Season. Nowhere on the Build and Price Pages does it mention All Season on the 18's just All Terrain. My 2018 Lariat SCREW had the same Michelin Primacy Tires as mentioned by Tire Rack.

It looks like I'm getting the GY black walls. Normally prefer BW, but the more I see pictures of trucks with the OWLs and the 18" rims the more I like those better.. Dang it.

I have the wrangler AT on my fx4. They suck. Narrow foot print. Too straight treaded for AT. Terrible in wet grass or mud. I was actually impressed in the snow though. They clean out better than they should. Of all the AT tire I've ran or installed in my shop I think the wrangler AT is the least "all terrain" in design of all. Decent on road though.

As sorry as they are in wet grass or light mud....I was pleasantly surprised by their snow ability.

My 2021 XLT that I got a few weeks ago came with the 3rd one down. Research on the internet says that they are bad in poor weather but have good tread wear. I don't drive in bad weather much anymore so I think I will be happy with them. They do seem to pick up a lot of stones on gravel roads though.
