I thought this group may find this interesting. I was able to add a CHMSL camera to my f150 XLT without 360 package. no access behind dash required. I had to use an external switch but it is possible. pics and video below. The Camera likes to select before you start the vehicle mostly, but it does allow you to switch while its running as you can see in the video. used a morimoto 3rd bracklight. let me know if interested in buying, kits, or information. i was a pain to create from scratch

yes, but just like the tailgate camera, it has that black warning label on it.

Have you tried this FORScan mod to remove that black box on both views?

 

I have not. its not that big of an issue for me to worry about since i dont have Forscan or plan to get it. The second CHMSL camera was an easy install, just had to run wires from the back tailgate to the side of the center console.
