Default ESP Oil Change Question

Looking at taking my 2023 with 18k miles to a 3rd party for an oil change as my local dealer is now charging $160(!) for a full synthetic oil change. I have a 9 year 125k ESP, if I go elsewhere will it be an issue if I have to have warranty work done down the road at a dealer? Figure I’ll at least keep receipts- does the shop have to use Ford Motocraft Oil, etc.?

Keep your records and use a motor oil that meets or exceeds the Ford product and you will be ok.

Exactly, I buy my own oil and filter and if I don’t feel like doing it myself I go to my local shop. Like $35 in labor.

When you get home, check the oil level. Also, look for oil drips under the truck. If the shop is SAE certified, you're good. Keep the receipts.
