Well, first order of business is to go get the codes read. Until that is done, we are just playing a guessing game. Get the codes read and come back and tell us what the codes are.

My guess based on the information you supplied is that it’s time for a full engine and transmission overhaul.

Mechanics call it the money light.

If I was a troll, time to trade it for a (insert name of another brand of truck).

Go get yourself an OBD2 reader. Could be as simple as a loose gas cap.

You can always take it to Ford and have them scan it for you. You can also try taking it to a parts store that can scan it for you.

But, in my book, it's more fun to hunt and poke around by disconnect this and reconnect it here or there and see if that helps with the Engine light.

You cannot educate these types!
They live on others instant answers and never learn.

Post or PM me your VIN. As long as your Fordpass is activated, I can see the DTC codes it is recording.

Go to nearby auto parts store for them to read and give you the code. Then you can lookup code online.
Happened to me and ended up being an O2 sensor which was replaced under warranty.

Come on man.....drive to an Autozone and they will pull and print the codes for you. 100% free. Minimum effort.

I’ll bet it’s P237C -exhaust heat exchanger in your PowerBoost. If so, I’m sorry. Took me two full months to get mine replaced. Pages and pages of discussion on it here: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thre...gathread.8634/
