Default Easy Entry/Exit

I have a new 2023 Ford F150 with less than 2,000 miles. I took the vehicle in because the memory seat position did not work as advertised. I’m being told if I have Easy Entry/Exit enabled the drivers seat will not return to the driving position and I have to press the 1,2,3 memory button to get the seat to the set position.

seems I’ve never had to do this with my other Ford trucks

thoughts?

Yea, thats inaccurate. My 2013 truck has the easy entry/exit and would always return to its last position when I started the truck. Theres no reason you should have to hit the memory seating button to get the seat back to where it should be after starting the truck. I would try to reprogram the position and see if that changes anything. Maybe toggle easy entry/exit off and back on for good measure. Its confused for some reason.

Default Easy Exit/Entry

Yes, the dealership reprogrammed it and three hours later told me “you have to push the button”. Bet a Chevy High Country doesn’t make me press the button

Could be the key fob programming too. I think you can program what seat position is used according to what key fob you are using.

So it sounds like it acts appropriately when you turn the ignition off by moving the seat and steering column, but just does not return when you get back in and hit the ignition to start? Are the three memory settings all different or have you tried using a different key? The owners manual says something about if two fobs are detected that it only reverts to the first or something.

I turned this annoying feature off, but it did always go back to prior position without me pushing button before I disabled it.

Strange, my easy entry/exit always worked and returned to driver profile 1 based on my key. I wonder if you need to reset your memory positions.
