Default driver's window auto down not working

I haven't found anything about re-calibrating the auto down function as it has stopped working. The window still goes down; however, I have to hold my finger on the button. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there's any choice besides taking it back to the dealer for it to be repaired or recalibrated. It's just a major inconvenience to be without the truck and I don't particularly like the local guys as they don't really put a lot of effort into figuring stuff out, based on experience.

This worked for me.
To re-initialize:
1. Start engine.
2. Press and hold window control switch until window is fully open.
3. Release the window control switch.
4. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed.
5. Release the window control switch.
6. Lift and hold the window control switch again for at least 1 second.
7. Press and hold the window control switch until window is fully open.
8. Release the window control switch.
9. Lift and hold the window control switch until window is fully closed.
10. Test for correct window operation.

Hey there! I can look into your F-150's window concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info?

I did not, but I will look

EDIT: the only video I found was about bounce back, which isn't the problem I'm having, however I've applied this procedure already on this truck and it doesn't work for a window that won't roll down all the way automatically. Perhaps you speak of another video?

I'll give this a try EDIT: this didn't work, unfortunately

Let me try the other poster's suggestion first. FWIW, the closest dealer (the one I complain about) isn't where I purchased the truck. My negative experience is based on other vehicles and my son's recent purchase of a '21 F250 and his bad shifting 10 speed transmission. I'm not ready to start trouble over my negative opinion of said dealer.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

Subscribing, because I’m having this same issue just recently. I won’t take mine in just for this, but if it’s in for other reasons too, then …

I had that problem and resetting it per the manual didn’t work. I took it to the dealer for an oil change I had them look at window. They reprogrammed whatever controller controls that.

The Ford social media team reached out to me and opened a ticket. That wasn't really my intention, as I haven't been to the dealer with it to have it checked. I will soon make an appointment for the wiper motor recall and then perhaps I can have it fixed at the same time.

Hopefully it's only a few minutes. I usually go to a stand alone Quicklane store here in San Antonio, and they don't really do anything besides fluids and tire rotation.
