So today i got in my truck and i always leave my window cracked (i have ventshades). It was cold this morning and the window wouldn't work. When i fnally got to work i figured out i must have mistakenly hit the button to lock the window. The weird thing is all the other windows worked. So there is a button for the drivers window to lock and a second button for all the other windows to lock. I don't think i ever had a vehicle that locked the drivers window.

So if your window doesn't go up and down make you haven't accidently locked your window.

 

the window lock button only locks the rear door windows (found this out after getting my windows tinted and my wife hit the passenger window button and it went down even with the lock on)
here it is out of the manual
Press the window control switch to lock or unlock the rear window controls. It illuminates when you lock the rear window controls.

 

well on my truck you can lock the drivers window as i found out today.

buttons. Mine only has one I have a crew cab high package Xlt. Curious as to see since the owners manual says it only locks rear windows

 

Interesting. This happened to me on my 21 with the 302A pkg. at the bank drive through and it wouldn’t come down. If I remember correctly I pushed a button but don’t remember which one as it was dark and then it went down All of the others worked but the drivers window. Following.

I found out how it happens on my truck. If i remote start my truck and push driver button window before putting key in and turning it on the window is locked. Just drivers window if i push the window unlock button for the back windows it starts working again. The other day when it happened on my way to work i must have hit by mistake getting in my truck.

It happened again this morning. I realized the lights for the window switches and mirror buttons were off. This time both front windows didn’t work. I pushed the window lock button and nothing. I pushed the mirror control button and the switch lights turned on and then the windows worked. Not sure why this is happening but it is strange.
