Default Driver Window Switch INOP when cold

So the first somewhat real cold temps of the year are upon us. I park my truck inside so it is generally warm when I start my drive. Yesterday it was parked outside for a few hours. I started it up, ran my drivers window down to talk to someone and I couldn't get the window to go back up. All of the other window controls on the drivers door worked find to control the other windows. After a few minutes of fiddling with the switch, I finally got it to go back up. When I got home I tested it some more and it worked fine. Later the same day, same issue repeated itself.

Anyone else have this? A trip to the dealer is in order, but it's always helpful if there is TSB or something to point the dealership in the right direction. I'm concerned that when I bring it in, I will get the 'cannot replicate customer concern' as they'll have it in a warm bay.

Sounds like a faulty switch or loose connection. I don’t have the time or patience to argue with service departments, so I’d order the switch and swap them myself.

I'm on my third master window switch. Last 2 were replaced under warranty. Keep an eye on it.

If you go above route get the part # & google it especially on e-bay....Have found older complete window switches pretty cheap...(seem to be OEM).even try amazon for direct part # ??
