Question A/C Having big issues

Hello everyone,

I have recently started to experience issues with my 2021 F150 Raptor.

The airflow seems to weaken to a minimum amount -- usually occurring sometime after 15-20 minutes of driving. I took this to my local Ford dealership and explained the problems.. left my truck there for about 7 days. They verified the problem and performed this tsb (24-2212).

It seems to have fixed the issue -- for a day or two anyway -- and now the issue is back.

Has anyone had a problem similar to this -- where a tsb was applied and the fix didn't stick?

Thanks a ton

Many people, myself included, have experienced this when the evaporator freezes up and blocks airflow. See several long threads about this on the Forum.

Short term, immediate fix (found on other threads as mentioned already):

Turn off AC, leave vent on high. Air will blow cold for a few minutes.
When vent air starts to get warm, turn AC back on. You'll be good to go.

Not an acceptable solution, but it is a solution. At least you won't go without AC! Been dealing with the issue this way for 2+ years on my 22.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Its mind boggling how bad the climate control is on these trucks. Even in 100% manual mode, it still tries to fluctuate temp and speed, on its own. Not to mention the TSBs ive had to get updated by the dealer bc the software kills the system :/
