Default driver door open

just found out you cant drive your 23 xlt f150 with the door open.. it automatically went back to park.. anyone know if this can be turned off with forscan..

Its a safety feature. I would be surprised if you can turn that kind feature in forscan.

Mine (2022) doesn't go back to park if I open the door, only goes to park by itself it I turn off ignition.

i don't remember my 22 xl doing this.. just annoying if you want to pull up close to something or open the door up to see when backing trailer up....

Mine will do it if I open door while in Drive. But if I open door then put in Drive I can move the truck.

This is the behavior I have found as well. I was able to keep the door open as I pulled forward a little a few times on my 23 now.

I thought ford corrected the door opening triggering shift to P "feature". for use cases mentioned above
