Drive Mode issue?
When changing Drive mode on my 2025 F-150 Lariat between Eco, Normal, and Sport modes the truck is shifting out of 2-Wheel drive. Sometimes the truck goes into 4-Wheel Hi, and other times 4-Wheel Auto when turning the Drive Mode **** between Sport, Eco, and Normal. I live in the mountains of Colorado and usually run the truck in Eco, until going uphill, and then I engage either Sport or Normal Drive mode. Recently my truck has begun shifting out of 2-Wheel Drive when toggling between Drive modes. Has anyone else experienced this? I know that I am not pushing the 4-High or 4-Auto except to disengage those functions. Any help would be appreciated!
With the ESOF, 2H is the default mode for SPORT. If you have AWD which is the TOD, 4A is the default in SPORT.

And if you have the electronic locking differential you engage that by pushing in on that same button (so don’t do that like F150-4LIFE said):

The curious thing is that this issue of defaulting to 4-A or 4-H did not start until recently.
Do I need to turn the Drive Mode **** once to activate options, wait a second, and then go to Eco or Sport? From the manual "Rotate the drive mode controller once to activate the drive mode selection menu in the display. Rotate the controller a second time to select and engage the drive mode."
