Drive Mode
This my fuel range on Friday after filling up with 93 it’s been creeping up every week usually was between 686 and 710 on 87 running in normal mode. Since I switched to 93 this has been the highest range I’ve seen yet and this is my normal Commute to work and home over a week no trip mileage
I don't think the Sport Mode makes as much difference IMO as the Pedal Max and like i said in Sport Mode the Transmission stays in the lower gears increasing the RPM's of the engine the Pedal Max doesn't do that it up shifts to the higher gears!!Also the Pedal Max has an adjustable controller that goes from 0-100 i have mine at 60!! You Tube has a bunch of Videos on the Pedal Max and other devices like it check them out on You Tube!! I brought the Topic TTT in the 2015-2020 section if you want to check it out!!
Not sure i'm using the Pedal Max on my 2023 Bronco Sport with the 1.5 Eco Boost[see post 9] but FWIW the 8 speed in the Bronco Sport didn't skip gears before i installed the Pedal Max!!
Those pedal max/commander things are such a waste of money. All it does is lie to the position sensor about how far you've pushed down the skinny pedal. There is absolutely ZERO performance benefit. Just stomp the pedal yourself and safe that money for the pump.

Thank you so much for the advice in this thread.
I put it in Sport Mode (the gauges turn from shades of blue to shades of red/orange which is cool). Every time I start the truck it just as me if I want to stay in Sport Mode and bonus, it shuts off the God forsaken Auto Start/Stop without having to push the button.
BIG difference in Sport Mode...makes that V8 Coyote come to life.

I had a Tacoma the last 3 years, the Toyota cult loves them. I have tried them, and they're stupid.
I know how to press the pedal harder if I want to accelerate faster. Paying 2 to 300 dollars for a little box to lie to the throttle position sensor instead of just pushing the pedal 10, 15, 25 or whatever percentage further myself...FOR FREE...is just burning money for no reason. I understand and appreciate the joy of silly purchases...if they provide any actual benefit/gain.
What I don't understand is why you are so afraid of stomping on the joy pedal yourself? That is WAY more fun than what you're advocating. (I'm just busting your *****, we're all friends here)
