Question Door rattle

I have a 2021 F150 powerboost Platinum that I have had since December. I have a weird plasticy sounding rattle going on in the front drivers side door when driving on any rough surfaces. It is super annoying and I have to turn music up to drown it out since its right by my head. on talk radio stations it's pretty noticeable since it doesn't drown it out. It's a sound like the arm-rest is loose or something even though it is not. Its the same sound as if you pressed it real hard with your leg a bunch to get it to creak. For the life of me I can't tell on the door where it is coming from. I had to have it in to the dealer for something else and asked them to look at it and of course they couldn't reproduce it so did nothing about it and I will admit the day I picked it back up it didn't seem to do it at all but now its back with a vengeance and driving me nuts. i recorded some video of it so they can hear it if im in the dealer again but dont really want to drop it off yet again for this. Anyone have a similar door rattle on these new trucks and did you figure out what it was or how to get rid of it?
thanks!

There are some videos showing how to tighten the screws to the drivers side mirror, and use cloth tape on the access panel that you’ll remove to get to those screws. Those seem to be common sources of rattles.

Yup, interested to know. I’ve got it too! Same exact description as you.

Here's a video I was referring to:
As some said in the comments to that video, you might not need the tape. Just tighten the mirror mount screws and that might be enough.

I was going to try that here shortly after breakfast. I saw that one last night after I read your keywords. I was going to do a how to if it worked.

Here’s the official fix for the door rattle on 21 and up year F150s.
You’ll need a ratchet, 7mm, 10mm, Goon tape or electrical felt tape, a razor, and some man hands to pull the mirror cover off. (Or ask your wife)
Open your affected door and look for the mirror cover. Grab that and pull it off. It’s held in by plastic clips.

After you have that off use your 7mm socket to tighten the small bolt and your 10mm to tighten the mirror bolts. I say tighten. But snug them up if they need it.

Apply tape to those locations as you see on mine.

next I turned to the cover and applied goon tape to anything I thought would contact anything else.

Then I went around the door and found the two bottom 7mm bolts and gave them a snug up.

I went for a short ride of varying speeds and over a lot of bumps and the rattle is gone!

Sorry to revive this old thread, but just wanted to say thank you for those who posted this info. It was super helpful in assisting me to find the door rattle in my truck. For some reason my door panels on both the driver and passenger's front door were not fully clipped in at the bottom.I loosened the 7mm screws at the bottom of the panel and popped the door panel on the bottom until the clip at the front corner clipped in. Tightened the screws and no more rattle. Somebody at FOMOCO surely was doing 1/2 a job on the assembly line the day my truck was built. Not sure how both panels weren't clipped in, but they weren't.
