Default DOH!

So, picked up my '23 truck at Granger (more later).
On the highway, headed home!
I get bumps every lane drift - Iowa must have a machine that micro-grooves the lanes' edges like the big grooves I can see at the far edges.
Over my 12 hours, I realize the truck is doing it. It is a base build, but it signals lane edges, it will steer back if I tell it to, and even b*tch at me if I let go of the steering wheel.
DOH!

Theres a button on the steering wheel to turn off the "lane keep". Its the top right button on the left switch set. Once turned off, it stays off, unless you turn it back on. You can adjust the settings for the lane keep in the center screen options as well.

Haha, same thing happened to me. I drove back from McKinney to Tyler and was thinking "did they put some sort of grooves in the road every so often?". Nope, turns out I'm just a bad driver.

Or you can signal and it won't do it. For the benefit of all.

The lane keeping system is above average. It really shines when going into a sweeping corner: it will gently move you away from the edgeline vs many other manufacturers that sharply correct the arc of the turn and jerk you into position.

Safety tip! Use your turn signal when changing lanes to (1) alert your system this is a planned maneuver so don't correct it and (2) alert other drivers what you are doing. Double bonus.

true, but he's talking about edges on the highway not lane changing.
But agreed, if blinker is on it wont steer back.

Ah okay, I re-read it and see where he mentioned just drift, my bad. I almost never encounter that, I wonder if they have the detection set to high or something.

I was surprised too when I got the thing and the steering wheel was literally vibrating. Then I shut it off and all is good.
