How do I disable the inside motion sensor alarm....Yes I went into the screen, Vehicle>Alarm>Disable motion sensor. It keeps defaulting to Motion Sensor On. Is there a way to keep it permanently off? My dog keeps setting it off.

 

Same on my 2021 as my 2018. I set mine to ‘prompt when exiting’, it will default to enabled but when my dog is in the car I just hit down and OK.

 

That is probably less work than to always go into settings>alarm>disable motion

 

I wish there was a way to disable to entire alarm right now. Just got a new 2024 Platinum and the alarm keeps going off intermittently. Ford has already evaluated once, and it is going back again. Very annoyed for this much money. Traded in a perfect 2018 platinum and regretting it. Regarding your question I did set it to ask on exit and try to eliminate as much as possible. Better than going in to all the settings.

 

Where is the inside motion sensor? 2023 if it makes a diff.

I have wondered the same thing. They are obvious on earlier models.

 

My Lab does the same thing to me, didnt know you could shut it off.
