Default Ding Ding after last update

Ok I have two F150's a 2023 my wife drives, and a 2025 I drive. I got mine a few weeks ago and it has a battery light on, they can't figure out. I noticed it would do a "Ding Ding" every once in a while, so I told the SW about it. Yesterday my wife and I went to dinner in my truck when it did it, she stated hers has been doing it the last few weeks also, so I figure it has to do with a Software update, but I am not sure. So has anybody else's remedially Ding'd a couple times?

As for the battery light it started at 50 miles on the ODO.

I'm in a 2021 purchased this year and still learning features. There are hundreds of posts about poor truck battery life on this forum but, I just learned about the battery display on the screen. I looks like a double AA cell and it is indicating the battery strength of my cell phone. Does the "ding-ding" occur when you leave the vehicle when it's running and the key is in your pocket? Apparently, this is a feature that can be turned off by your shop or by you if you've got the tech. It's not a general settings feature. Good luck.

You/we don't know what was done to find the cause.
If it's a Battery light Symbol same as shows >>before starting, there should be a P code set to tell what is wrong, in its description.
Find this out.
Good luck.

"errant dings" could be many things. Often related to the adaptive cruise etc features or more likely navigation features

I am wondering about the Ding Ding's. The battery light is not tossing a code or anything. The dealer is working with Ford on figuring that out. If they don't get it pretty soon I am going to look into a Lemon Law buy back.

It might have to do with the navigation system warnings - like railroad track ahead, sharp turn, low clearence, etc.

One Tire pressure low, turn signal on too long after driving straight will result in the same alert.
Good luck.

I have been trying to figure this out. It goes off at random, I thought maybe 5 MPH over speed limit, nope. To close to car in front of me, nope, Maybe school zone warning, nope. This happens in straight lines or curves at stop signs. Turn signal and TPMS aren't the issue.

It is sort of like the old morse code devices with two sometime three tones. Like the tone for the "S" in the SOS. Just seems funny both my trucks are doing it, and no one else seems to hear it.

If you hear the same warning tones in two Trucks, they must be equipped with the same features and driver triggered.
Have driver attention alert?
Sync system alerts etc.
Good luck.
