Default Dead 2021 Powerboost

I found my 2021 F150 Powerboost in the driveway totally unresponsive. Dead to the point that I had to pull the manual key to get the door open. Called the dealership and they tried to tell me that I could have the roadside service come jump it.. Nope , I told them that I was aware that the 2021's have been having battery drain issues and that I wanted it checked out. It is on it's way to the dealership now. I will provide updates as this progresses.

That's sucks.

Can't manufactures put out vehicles without issues. GMC has an issue with their lifters.

NO, they can't.

None of them.

Keep in mind how many (thousands of) parts come from different manufacturers. None of them are capable of producing every item perfectly.

Simply the nature of the beast.

Sorry to hear about your issues. Question for you: DId you keep your approach zone lighting feature on? I just recently turned that off for fear of battery drain issues.

good, luck……I’ve been dealing with this since March. The truck has had the update programming that was supposed to have solved the problem but I still get low battery warnings and when I tow it, the battery is dead in a day….local dealer had it last weekend for three days….says all is well, can’t find a problem and battery is good.

I turned off zone lighting early on when hearing about the issues... was in for oil change and checkup last week and they said it wasn't resolved yet.

Can't hurt to swap the battery anyway. There have been some reports of defective OEM batteries recently.

As with most one hit (posts) wonders... apparently there's no progress to report.
