Default CV Boot Problem?

The other day changing the oil I noticed grease on the back side of the front driver wheel above the cv boot. It’s not alot and I couldn’t feel or see any visible tears in the boot itself. I do have a 2.5” puck style leveling kit. I’ve also noticed that I can vaguely hear some type of low vibration at times but not all the time. Just wanted to see if anyone else had had any issues out of their cv boots with leveling kits. I’m thinking about wiping the grease clean and monitoring to see if and how quickly it comes back before taking it in. Only have 35k miles on the truck.

Clean the grease and inspect that boot real good for any cuts or tears.

taking it to the dealer would be a waste of time. They are going to tell you to pound sand. Your cv boot issues are directly attributed to your lift. They will not warranty your leaking/torn boots.

I am certainly aware of that and didn't indicate I would take it to the dealer. I am just curious where/how the grease is coming out if there is no tear on the boot itself.

I'll check once I get back down there and clean everything up to monitor.
