Sell your truck now while it is holding the value -you won't have much more time to get top dollar for your truck.
If money isn't the issue, then good luck with your decision I guess. haha

About a year ago my wife insisted we trade in her Ford CMAX plug-in Hybrid as she wanted a new full size Bronco. Growing up her parents always had Broncos and when we met 30 years ago we both had Bronco II's. Of coarse it had to have the big engine, which advertises a whopping 17MPG (my '21 F150 3.5 EcoBoost advertises 20). To appease her we placed an order for her dream Bronco, and got on the year + wait list. Now mind you the primary mission for this vehicle would be to drive to the grocery store or go get her hair done.
Along about April when gas prices were racing past $5 and more I finely convinced her that the CMAX fits her mission well. We drive it more miles on electricity going around town on short trips then miles burning gas. But we occasionally take long drives with it when we don't need the truck and enjoy the 40MPG. I think the Bronco is now out of the picture, but now and then she starts talking about the Bronco Sport.
Funny thing is when we bought the truck last early last year, we traded in an '07 F150 and on '09 fully loaded Escape that I really liked (it only had just over 100K miles). I tried to convince her to trade in the CMAX and keep the Escape. She said at that time she liked her little CMAX.

At the first oil change I traded it and the F150 out for a 2022 F150 and haven't looked back.

The tranny shifted like crap way to late, I would be going up a small hill at 35 to 40 MPH and the dam thing would not downshift into a lower gear. This caused it to lug because it was in too high a gear. Comfort on a long trip for me being 5' 9" 185 was dismal. I had to stop every two hours to get out and walk around for 10 to 15 minutes. It got so bad between eastern TN and MO I stopped on the way home half way. Yup an 8 hour trip took me two days.

If you are used to a flat floor forget it in the bronco. The back seats lay down and have a large hump. If you lay the back seats down you have to move the front seats forward then lay the Bach seats down. If you want them up you have to move the front seats forward and lift them then move the front seats back. The rear seats are even worse than the front for comfort. If you want to haul a few 2x4x8s you will need to push them into they sit on the dash.

Think Escape but smaller on the inside. If you want to small suv that almost is a suv, then this is for you.

The full size bronco might be different, but the bronco sport is not for me. I did get 28mpg on my one long trip, but I will settle for 22mpg and comfort.
Bronco sport, is not even in the same universe as the Bronco. Its like comparing a Rubicon to a liberty. Having said that, I still woudnt get a Bronco unless I was an off roader mud bogger, etc.

I reserved a full sized Bronco the day the reservation window opened up & waited a long time before I could actually see one on the lot. When I did finally see it I realized it was way too small & the inside configuration wasn't going to work for me. Switched gears & went for a F-150 Supercrew Powerboost. Absolutely no regrets for me.

After I learned it was based on the smaller Ford Ranger, I never considered it.

Had it been based on the majestic and graceful F-150, I'd have considered it.

You thought the wait for an F150 was bad? I had to wait 18 months to get my Bronco after my day one reservation. F150 scheduled for 8/29 build week, let's hope it doesn't get pushed again!

If you want one and can find one, and are willing to pay, then great. Around me any on the lot have $20k+ markups, usually used. If you order I think you are still over a year out.

I never considered a Bronco and never would. Very different vehicles. Even if I ignored the availability and markup, I want the space and comfort of a truck. The bed offers way more space than a Bronco, and there's more interior space and comfort as well.

Thank you everyone. I will figure price and availabilty out. I was looking for pros and cons that maybe someone wheighed when deciding between the 2 or a reason somone switch from the fullsize Bronco to an F150. There are dealers around who are not selling with a mark up and they seem to get a steady flow of Broncos on the lot. I will make the decision on my own no problem. Just looking for a this was cool and this sucked kinda thing. Hopefully learn something new.
