Default Cornering lights

I've had my truck almost a year and didn't realize it had the cornering light feature until I was driving in a really dark area. I won't say these are useless though since I had not seen them before they're not much good to me. Is there anyway to make them light up the area any better than stock?

Adjust them. Not too high though, you don't want to glare oncoming drivers.

Yes, they definitely seem like more of a gimmick to me than anything useful.

Almost all come adjusted too low. Once raised some they are of more benefit.

Adjust them up. It's pretty easy to do. Youtube it. Once you get them higher they are pretty nice.

Are they the same lights as the fog lights?

I can see mine turn on on the driver's side. Passenger side I can't even tell. I actually had to check to make sure it was working. Yes, it is working but if I can't even tell if a light comes on why bother.

Frankly I'd probably just rather program them off if I could. Utterly worthless to me.
