Default Ceramic coating

Anyone else got theirs ceramic coated, I just picked mine up from getting fully coated. Absolutely love how reflective the Carbonized Grey looks after the paint correction and Angelwax ceramic coating

Yes! Ceramic coated my Cabonized Grey a few months ago. Love it and water just beads off. Ceramic + blower means almost no towels at all. Used Gtechniq Crystal Serum. Took many hours considering a wash, clay bar, buff, wash, ceramic coat, Exo x2 two coats. Worth it!

Some people will claim that using a blower is like driving through a sand storm so proceed cautiously.

I have heard that in the past also...but I truly believe it's a myth unless you are using it in a very dirty environment, or your leaf blower is full of muck. I used a leaf blower to dry my Harley and use one on my new Lariat when I wash it and have never had a bad experience...and end up with no water spots. Of course as they say...there's a first time for everything... . But I think it's reasonably safe.

They work really well at clearing the snow off of the driveway as well.

I haven't ever used a blower to dry but not for the same reasons. I just never have needed to. ha

I understand it in theory or if a person were blowing off the vehicle each week and it was windy blowing dirt around while owner is drying the vehicle but seems fair enough that the water shedding off so fast isn't going to net a sand blasted vehicle.
Maybe on a black or dark color one could notice a few little areas of problem but otherwise, seems safe.

I'm just regurgitating the internet rumors....

Just curious how much it cost you. Also, does it help with fingerprints?

Just had my '20 Rapid Red done, along with PPF bra. Really makes that color pop. Doesn't help with fingerprints though. Only breaking arms or kneecaps help with that. What do people think doorhandles are for?
First day I got it back, a dipshiest liked the slickness so much, she ran her whole hand down the side from tail light to head light. Can anyone say, "Kill, kill, I want to see blood, gore, and guts, kill, kill!
Some peoples kids, and parents.

Every time you touch a vehicle three things can happen, nothing, you can be scratching it, or you can be polishing it and removing scratches. Most of the time we are scratching it. That is the advantage of the foam cannons and using a blower to dry it. That said I don’t have a foam cannon, I’ve tried a leaf blower but don’t like it, and on occasion I use the scrubbing brushes at the car wash sometimes to get bugs off.

The OP’s truck looks great too.
