This is a little ridiculous. Might have to cancel.

Just saw this today. I ordered it Feb 3rd and had a build date of March 23rd. Since then it has been parked in Dearborn. This is a problem.

Not sure where mine would be coming from. I ordered a Space White XLT Regular cab, 5.0 4x4 with a 3.73 rear.

I'm pretty sure all Space White trucks come out of KC.

It's sad that Ford hasn't already offered significant discounts to those in this situation.
Some people argue the fact that vehicles sit outside all the time. But I keep my vehicles in the garage all the time when it's not being driven. And I don't want my new truck sitting out for months before I even take possession of it.
Trucks often sit on the dealership lot for months until they sell. Its not really that different and it doesn't hurt the truck.

Mine's a Space White Lariat, ordered late March. Still no VIN or confirmed delivery date. Lease on my current vehicle ends in September and I'll be without a vehicle if I don't have the truck by then. Not sure what to do here as I'm pretty sure the '22s will be more expensive and the wait might be just as long.

I just called on another truck. $5000 over MSRP and they said on Monday they are doubling it on all F150s. Then tried to tell me Ford will not be building any new F150s for the next 2 months and hasn't for the past month. I told him that is why that truck has been on the lot for a month today and other dealers are still getting stock orders that were built this month. Thanks but no thanks.

Yeah stealerships need to die out like blockbuster. I hope there is a big push towards Tesla-style online purchasing soon. If stealerships closed down, I'd imagine the prices on all vehicles would drop too, since there is no need to employ an entire group of people and pay rent for large buildings.

As soon as everything goes EV, there's going to be a lot less requirement for stealerships to have repair shops so there goes a bunch of their revenue too.

The Cybertruck should make it so that the boomer-style tactics for trucks die out, or at least encourage it. Gen-Xs, millennials, and Gen-Z don't want the haggle. Just give us a truck at a fair price and be done with it.

Unless you special order all your vehicles, it is highly likely that it has been sitting outside for weeks, or months before you take possession, even in normal times. Think about those giant Texas dealerships, you think they don't have a few that sit for months at a time?
If someone wishes to cancel their order, that's fine but there is no guarantee the '22 F150, or RAM or Silverado they may purchase, instead, hasn't sat idle for weeks or months out in the sun and weather.

Yep. I have to wonder how many critters now have new homes at the Kentucky Speedway. Air intakes make for great nests, and there are lots of wires to chew on.
