Default Camera question

I have a 2024 F150 Lariat, Powerboost, I bought new in Nov. 2024. I am well pleased with her and all the safety features. Recently I pulled a trailer with her and noticed that when I hit the blinkers to turn left or right, a camera came on to show the side and rear on the left or right side. When the turn was complete and the blinker turned off, the screen went back to where it was before. I liked that. Is there a way in settings or features to have these cameras come on when I indicate a turn and not be pulling a trailer? Thanks.

I did some Googlin' and found this. I'm not sure if its the feature you are requesting though. You could put one of those testers on the trailer connection and it might work while its plugged in, maybe thinking a trailer is attached. No se.

And here is that link in the picture....

Take advantage of the extra safety the feature gives you.

Seen that on SDs and love it.

The only way to get it to work all the time is to trick the truck into thinking there is a trailer plugged in all the time. There is no way to enable it without a trailer plugged in with FORScan or otherwsie.

Well, I found an answer to my own question. On the top row of buttons, above the display, is the "camera symbol button", 2nd from the left. When you press it a list of cameras comes up. I chose the one that activates both side mirror cameras. You will see a split screen. The normal small screen on the right side goes away. The blinkers works fine but has no effect on the screen. If I press the camera button again, the screen goes back to what it was on before. Press it again and the cameras you previously selected come back. I can see where this would be helpful on an Interstate or other 4-lane, or 6-lane.
I don't know if this effects anything like Blue Cruise or Lane Centering, as I don't use those.
