Default Bluetooth issues!!!

I have a 23 f150 lariat and my truck won't connect to my phone and other people's phones.
I have done the reset on the infotainment center, turn the truck on and off, reset my phone, deleted my phone off the truck and removed my truck off my phone aswell.

Nothing has seemed to work and suggestions would be much appreciated!

I got so disgusted with the unreliability of the Bluetooth Carplay connection, I switched to using a USB connection. I've been waiting for any news on this forum that it's been fixed, but I suspect that may never happen. For what it's worth, I remember an audiophile mention here, that the music played via Bluetooth was not as good as via USB.

Mine has always been unreliable, but there a few locations in the town I live in where 100% of the time I drive by it drops the connection. It is incredibly frustrating, especially with the price of these vehicles. Wife has a Toyota with wireless Apple CarPlay and it works flawlessly in the same areas and rarely ever has any issues. Ford needs to figure it out.

Maybe I'll give it another try. I haven't tried it since the last update.

I had similar issue and called, spoke with Ford tech. Went thru all the possible resets and no improvement. All voice was garbled, couldn't understand calls out or received calls. That was 30 days ago. Since then, my computer has received 3 updates and all issues are corrected. Possibly reach out to Ford tech to get updates is all I can offer.

Default blue tooth issues

I am having the same issue; my phone will disconnect all the time. I am just plugging my phone into a usb cord for now. My other halfs equinox has no phone disconnect issues. i have tried to reset the sync and uninstall my phone and it still does the same thing. Truck is 21 lariat. f150.

My phone connects most of the time but 1 out of 3 times there won’t be any sound. A song will be playing and displayed on the screen with no sound. I have to disconnect CarPlay on my phone and reconnect. It’s getting annoying.

Thanks for the input. I figured it out the other day. I had to do a factor reset and it finally connected. I don't know what was going on with it.

I had similar issues sparsely with my '21 F150. It would mostly happen when trying to go from USB to bluetooth with carplay. If I started with one it was always a headache trying to get it to switch and would involve resyncing etc. I have had no problems on my '24 though, it's actually worked very well.
