Default Black screen

Has anyone ever had problems with screen. I tried a reset and nothing. It worked yesterday and all of sudden just went black.

Hello! Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you with your black screen concern!

Its your APIM. If you are still in warranty, take it in!

Yes, repeatedly since I purchased in 10/22. Ford logo is freezing for about 30 seconds to a minute then black screen for the same amount of time then it would restart. I had it in about a week and a half ago for the Works and the Harness recall and they did a master reset. Got in the truck to leave dealership and it did it again. It hasn't done it since.

Yup, APIM failed, mine did the same thing, would go black after a while, APIM was replaced under warranty, and no issues since.

I got the same message from Ford when I recently posted about similar issues. I answered their questions. My response was nothing but "crickets". Happened again twice last week. Guess the Feds could call it is a safety issue when your screen is black and you have to back out of a parking space in a busy parking lot. Had to go analog and use my neck and the rear view mirrors until the system rebooted. I've got plenty of warranty left. I'll call the dealer at some point. I kind of look at it like when my PC takes an occasional vacation for no reason. Wonder if the Ford crickets will respond to me now.

This happens to me all the time, constantly resets, and the rear camera image will freeze.

Wonder if you will now get the "magic" message from Ford asking for the VIN etc. They have a problem.
