Default Bench seat armrest conversion?

I swear I've seen a post here for a conversion from XL bench seat armrest to XLT bench seat open lid armrest. but I've searched and searched and didn't find it. if anyone knows what I'm talking about, a link would be greatly appreciated.
by the way, has anyone converted an XLT benchseat armrest to the work surface? that's basically what I'm after. part number for the benchseat work surface would be greatly appreciated too.
Thanks

I converted my 18 XL to the opening armrest jump seat. All I did actually was take the seat back (that has the opening top console) off another jump seat I got from a junk yard and put it on my seat bottom. I wanted to keep my bottom because the 2018-2020 have USB ports on the back for rear seat passengers and everything else on mine was in better cosmetic condition. I moved my cup holder/phone holder piece over to the new one as well since mine was sized right for newer phones.

I haven't done mine yet, but someone posted a guide here a while back that I haven't taken the time to try to dig up again, but basically you can buy the storage/seat back part and just cut open the back of the XL seat and the bracketry is already in there for the storage to bolt in

that's the exact post I was refering to. I want to see some of his pictures and look up part numbers, then decide if it's worth it. I've also seen ppl with the work surface wanting to convert to the regular bench seat armrest, the main complaints is uneven height (compared to door arm rest) and hard surface that's hard on elbow

I actually have one for sale in the grey cloth if your interested. I upgraded to the Lariat trim seats so i don't need the console part anymore.

Thanks, but I have what you converted to (XLT), I'm thinking of the possibility to convert mine to benchseat work surface. but your post helpd a lot, I wanted to see what's inside that arm rest and you had pictures for it during your convertion.
