Default Belltech 6426

2" lower in the rear with Belltech 6426 lowering shackles. For those who prefer to lower the rear rather than raising the front. The rear is still 1" higher than the front.

A couple of questions as I'm looking to go this route. I was thinking of doing a 1" drop shackle and removing the blocks which should give me about 2-1/4 of drop depending on how much shim it may need.
By using the 2" drop shackle did you have to cut the bed support above the shackle?
As mentioned above did you remove the rear blocks?
Was the rear shimmed for pinion angle, any vibrations?

removing the blocks is what gives it the 2" drop, otherwise it would be only 1"

the kit as designed...from memory, it's been a while, is a 1" drop without removing the block. They call it a 2" drop with the block removed. No bed support was modified.

from an installation standpoint, some guys cut the bolt heads off by the gas tank and install new bolts. this isn't necessary, however. if you remove the bottom shackle bolt and the shocks (again, from memory, i'm not sure about removing the shocks) you can support the frame and then push the rear end up on the pumpkin with a floor jack until the shackles pretty much touch the bed. Then the bolts can be removed from over the top of the frame rail...and reinstalled.

Interested in this. I like the reverse level. It's what I did to my old GM truck. 1" rake is acceptable!
PS: Why does it say that kit# doesn't fit the truck?

it hasn't affected lane assist, i don't have blue cruise

i was concerned about the rear end sagging when hooking up to my camper, so i also installed a set of load leveling air bags, also not supposed to fit a '21, but they worked with some modification

if your truck has the headlight aiming linkage on the rear axle, they definitely won't work (air bags)

Looks good. I often wondered if this was possible rather than lifting the front. Can you post pix of the brackets installed?
