Did they fit, the manufacture states they are not for the new bracket design the OP is talking about.

Default Thanks for Box Cleat info for 2025's

Timely question and good info from all, much appreciated as my 2025 custom order SuperCrew Lariat 157 WB just arrived at dealer on Friday, and I noticed the different plates as I was looking at it, will make sure I keep the cleats from my 2021 SuperCrew Lariat 157 WB, assuming I decide to take the 2025 :-)

I custom made a bike rack that fits in the old style plates, and given long box the tailgate closes with 4 road bikes in box on fork mount rack... want to keep that so will get some old style plates if I pull the trigger on the 2025

Had 2015, 2018 and 2021, now maybe 2025 as they could not find me a 2024 with what I wanted last November at lease end....

Much thinking to do, and this forum is great source of info

Ford's website shows the old model still listed under 2025, and same with ebay. Does anyone else have the new style that matches the mounting plate below, or know where I can get them? The picture below shows the old cleats from 2021 against the new mounting plate on my 2025.

I have the same issue, when I purchaed my 2015, the cleats came with the unit, but dissapointed I recieved no cleats for the new 2025. Do you or anyone know of cleats that fit this new design. I have looked hi and low, Amazon, Ford Parts, etc. and can find no one that makes cleats, (or any attachment) for this new design. I know I could buy new plates, but would rather not. Update: Ford documentation dated 08/2024 states "Four (4) pickup box tie-down plates replaces BoxLink", see page 2 of the attached document. So apparently, we got simple tie-down plates, nothing else.

To Grizz262: I wonder if the openings are different on the 2025 Platinum than on the 2024 Lariat. See my post above. I didn't think I even needed them, it just looked unfinished with the bolt holes showing. I have a Line-X bed liner and the tech put in bolts to keep the threads clean, then removed the bolts. Pretty good tech. Anyway, I find that I use the rear two a lot if hauling something and the tailgate is down. These from Amazon fit perfectly.

Yes, I think Ford changed them in 2025 to just an "outlet" type opening like the OP posted and that I have.

So you're thinking we just hook a ratchet strap or bungee cord straight to the plate?

Completely agree. If they make a new one they should have accessories for it. I'm not finding anything anywhere. So strange. Think I might just see how it goes as I should be able to just use the plates for my needs, but always wanting to hear from others.

I upgraded to these boxlink plates:

They are amazing. The Molle mounts help with being more creative to what you can attach too.
