I don't mind the centerline at all. It's the Full View Not Available box that blocks the view of the rear camera that bothers me. Maybe Ford could fix that!

You can remove it with foescan.

I have found that after updating my truck to the latest versions not only is the line gone but I can no longer hit the camera button at speed and bring up this or the other rear cameras. I can see the bed camera in the split view but I can not bring it up full screen anymore. Is anyone else seeing this behavior on Sync 24127? This is the first disappointing thing I have found since updating.

Another change in the latest sync is you no longer receive a warning when you press the button to turn off reverse brake assist which is a big plus.

Going back to this I have a DCT both before and after the updates that may be the reason the line is gone and not the updates. I saw it in FDRS before I started updating any modules. I often see some DTC that clear when looking with Forscan but I haven't seen this one before and it does not clear. I don't use the camera in motion feature often so it may have been gone before and I didn't notice it. Can you look to see if you have any stored DTC's

Unfortunately, I don't have PTS access. I have to rely on other folks to look me up ( @camattin & @rugedraw ) in the other update thread. Before I took the truck in for the bed camera issue, rugedraw showed me three codes (one matching yours) and an associated SSM:
IPMA B1578 : 78 : 2F Digital Park Assist Control
IPMA B152E : 08 : 28 Rear Camera 2
IPMA B115E : 31 : 2C SSM 51688 Camera Module

Hope that helps!

This DTC and could be the issue. I may try and configure it in FDRS and see it the line comes back. Honestly I kind of like this view better without the center line.

My bed camera on my 2021 XLT with 360 view had been going in and out with a blue screen. Finally went out altogether a few weeks ago. Dealer said the camera is bad and part is on order. Is anyone aware if the bed camera shortage and back order is still happening? I saw a lot of posts about that in 2023. But less recently. Dealer will not give an ETA and says a "few days" but it has been 2 weeks. Thank you.

I also asked them to update the 16 other modules that show as having updates available. We'll see what they do.

To address your question, I had the centerline dashes after the bed camera was replaced last year. We'll see if they're still there after this new service and repair.

I see I didn't close the loop after taking my 2022 KR in for the bed camera going in and out with a blue screen. I have my truck back now. The bed camera was replaced and the dealer had one in stock. Last year when it was replaced it was on back order for a few weeks. The tech was also able to include updating 7 modules out of 18 with pending updates. Apparently Ford is cracking down on them doing updates unless they're directly linked to a DTC or a particular customer complaint issue.

I see that the dashed centerline is now gone from both the bed camera split screen and full screen views. It is still there on the rear camera view. Both the bed and rear cameras seemed to be working while in motion, but I'll double-check that later today while on the road.
