Default Battery Charger Use

I don't plan to use my 2024 Platinum EcoBoast for 10 days and want o install my CTEK automatic battery charger and keep it plugged in for that time as it will be in the garage. After reading about the sensitive electrical sensing systems in truck I am looking to avoid any problems, welcome any advice, guidance and warnings about connecting CTEK charger.
I will plan to have the hood, doors and windows closed so hopefully minimal parasitic drain but want to avoid coming home to a dead battery.

My last F-150 was 2018 KR and electrical system not as complex as I never had issue leaving it unattended on the charger extend time period.

This truck is not Hybrid and under back seat on passenger side is this "black box", can someone tell me what this is! Is it a 2nd battery or the 2kW inverter standard on the Platinum non-hybrid model?

Thanks in advance for any guidance
Roger

I just hook my maintainer directly to the battery post. No issues.

Same here, except I use a ground instead of the negative post.

Connect the negative charger lead to the ground point on the fender near the battery.
The battery monitoring system needs to see the charge cycle and it wont if you go directly to the negative battery terminal, because that bypasses the sensor.

I've left mine for two plus weeks while overseas and had no problems when I got back. Don't think it went into deep sleep mode either
