My backup camera on my 2022 STX sucks...The display screen is very faint and of little use..Am I the only one? Any way to improve it? I'm willing to pay for a better camera but I don't know where to start

 

Can you show us a picture of it?

 

I have 8” screen but the camera gets the job done. That said, it’s the first vehicle I had with a camera and I’m spoiled.

My 2021 went fuzzy,had a new one installed.

 

Went by the dealer today and was told by the service guy he could get me a better picture for around $2500.00

 

Wish my backup picture was darker, seems a little weak. And the white lines seem to cover up the colored lines making it defeat the purpose of having it. This was the one feature I was looking forward to when upgrading my truck. Now I rely mostly on the side mirrors when backing into my parking spot.

 

What truck do you have? What trim levels get the upgraded camera?

 

My truck info is in my signature. I have no idea about upgraded cameras. My last three F-150's were bought used.
