Default back from a TEST DRIVE

I just come back home from a test drive a f150 lariat ,I ask for a v8 the s#it head pull up in a 3.5 eco boost ,anyway I didn't complain I have my whole family with me and we went for a test drive , I have to say that every time im on the market for a new truck I check out all 4 b4 I decide what to get , I already check the GMC and chevy I currently drive a 2020 ram Laramie loaded with a hemi,so here we go, gmc and chevy das not stand a chance , not even close to ram and the ford, coming from my ram in the gm trucks fills like you went from 2020 to 2001 the interior of the gm trucks are total garbage and also from what I see lately thy have a massive problems with collapsing lifters and banding rods, ford have come a LONG WAY from the previous model year, I must say I was impressed with the interior and how smooth the truck drive, its very close to my ram, but I have to say f150 is taking the top spot in my book. I am not bread loyal customer because I do not like to pass on the great opportunities from other brands , but im drawing the line to AMERICAN BRANDS , RAM, FORD , GM. right now defiantly looks like ford is way to go, I will have a hard time to let go of my RAM but ...

You are defiantly set on this, huh? Or definitely, perhaps?

It is funny that you didn't include Toyota and Nissan in your rant, as they actually have as much "American Made" content as the Big Three, lol!

3.5 is a smooth and powerful little motor, I hate the way it sounds , no full size truck should sound like that but that is only my opinion , the 5.0 coyote is a great engine but I hate that ford put cylinder deactivation in it, I have to take one for a drive to see how it behave on the road, my rams both have the cylinder deactivation and that is the only reason I hate about it, but on the ram you can turn it off if you want , so far from what I see ford is not giving you that option.

I'm not even sure what you said aside from the part when the sales person apparently brought you the wrong truck to test drive?

There are worst things to ruin a day. Sorry you're having a bad day or bad month, hopefully you can be happy soon.

Yeah, I'd not be purchasing something I hated.

Back to a hemi for you then?

The cylinder deactivation can be turned off on the Coyote, there are YouTube videos that walk through it and I guess it's pretty simple.

Either way, I think it's fine to just stick to the RAM. This thread is a bit odd, I understood people posting test drive reviews back when these trucks were new, but we are almost to the 2022 model year, nothing new to really learn.
