Default Back in an F150!

I've been away from the forum for a while. Back in 2020 I bought my fourth F150. A beautiful Oxford white Lariat 502A with the black out package. But then in 2022 I got the stupid idea that I didn't need a full-size truck, so I traded it off on an Explorer ST. It was a beautiful vehicle, loaded, all black, and fast as hell. It had the twin turbo 3.0 putting out 400 hp. Pretty impressive in an Explorer sized vehicle I must say.

But it wasn't an F150. And every time I passed an F150 or a Ford dealer I got angry. What the hell was I thinking? An SUV? Even if it was lightning fast, it just wasn't right.

So, this week I went to my friendly neighborhood Ford dealer. A buddy of mine is a salesman there and the really have treated me well over the years. And guess what? They had a 2023 Oxford white Lariat 502A with the blackout package right there on the lot. Long story short, I lost a few grand getting out of the Explorer lease, and I am now driving an F150 once again. And I can't really complain about losing money on the lease. When I went from my old truck to the Explorer, I ended up with $6,000 cash in my pocket. So, all in all, I'm good with it. And I am damn happy to be back in an F150.

Here is my new baby, and my old one.

Did that hood come with your truck or did you add the hood side vents?

It appears to be a Lariat Black Appearance Package which includes the grille, Tremor projector headlights, Tremor LED tail lights, Tremor hood, Tremor dual exit exhaust and black Lariat fender vents.

It came with the truck. Apparently it is part of the black out package.

I’ve had cars when I’m still at school cause that’s the only option with my budget, after graduation and got my first full time job, it has always been a pickup truck. Never laid eyes on anything else.
