I am the owner of an f150, STX 2023 sitting under 60k

i have changed 2 out of my 4 window control unit inside of the door.
Currently my driver side window (#3) is starting to cut out.
issue:
automatic down and up feature no longer works.
when automatic up is activate, window roll up will not initiate but I can hold my finger in the button to get it up.. when it gets closed the window then drops down below halfway.

Is this an easy fix? I know it’s a common issue amongst my ffriends and co-workers.
has there been any recall notice about this?

 

I have the same truck, there is a recent electric window related software update, you might check to make sure you are up to date with all the software updates.

 

Make sure window tracks are clear of debris and clean with your favorite Armor-all type product. Then try “resetting one touch close” first, takes under a minute and is free:
