Does anyone know why the auto start/stop cannot be deleted on a 4x2 with the 3.5L motor? It can be deleted on a 5.0 but not the 2.7L or 3.5L

 

Are you saying it can't be deleted on the 2.7 and 3.5 in 4x2 form? I have it deleted on my 2.7 order but it's 4wd.

Yes, I'm aware of those options for disabling. I was mainly asking due to my truck not being built yet because the auto start/stop cannot be removed from order.

Thanks for this. My dealer couldn’t explain why Auto Start Stop Removal was not available on my ECoboost 4x2 order. So are there NO Ecoboosts 4x2 being built with Auto Stop Start Removal. Anyone know why this is?

Are Ford automatically removing the Auto Start/Stop even if you haven't had it removed or do you have to have it removed before your truck will go into Production? I have seen the $50 Credit on Window Stickers when it is removed but dont know if this is for only those who specifically requested it to be removed.

When the late December order was put in on a 4X4 302a XLT 2.7 no mention of the stop start delete was on the order.

Truck came with the -$50.00 delete.

Go for it only Ford will determine the if or if not on what comes on the truck.

Personally miss it after having it from 2016 on.

Is the start/stop removal something that has to be requested through the dealer? I went through the "build and price" on the website and could not find the option to delete it. I have a Platinum 5.0 4x4 on order and would not mind deleting it if possible.

 

Yes, if you have an order that is not yet in Production, you can contact the dealer to have it removed.
