Default Anyone know what this is for??

Yes Ive hit google, this was under the back seat of my new 2021. Anyone know what it’s for, if I need it? Yes I tow a trailer with the truck. Thanks for any help!!
Edit: looks like it says “trailer sensing kit”

i will never understand why the dealer doesn´t install that when the truck is in pre inspection

thank you for that video, so I’m guessing this replaces the stickers that where used in the past on the trailers.

The sensor is attached to a trailer permanently, and connected to the truck via a cable.

I was reading through the instructions and it seemed to me that this kit was to be used for a 5th wheel trailer. I may be wrong!

My dealer told me to come in and they would help me install it when I get my trailer if necessary. I think you also still use the stickers because he gave me some to put with my owners manual.

From the instructions in the bag I can see how that could be mistaken, I had the same inclination. After watching that video I get it now, pretty cool.
A buddy of mine says a Man Card revocation is in order if I used it.

Lots of people have posted that are like your buddy. Many more that thought like him have since tried it and were astonished at how much easier it made backing the trailer, even with decades of experience. Tell your buddy to stay in his cave.

What video? Never mind I found the link!! Yeah, now I can't wait to get my trailer next month and hook this up!!
