Default Another Recall ...

I think this is my 4th Recall on my truck .... I guess that's what you get when you buy a new (er) model ? UNDERBODY THERMAL-ACOUSTIC INSULATORS MAY LOOSEN AND CONTACT THE ALUMINUM DRIVESHAFT, RESULTING IN MARKING OR SCORING OF THE DRIVESHAFT. OVER TIME, THE ALUMINUM DRIVESHAFT MAY FRACTURE DUE TO HEAT BUILD-UP AND OR MATERIAL THICKNESS REDUCTION THAT CHANGES THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE ALUMINUM MATERIAL.

Have this pending as well, just installed my exhaust and sure enough the insulation was laying on the drive shaft.... Guess it's time to take a trip to the local stealership.

They figure only 10% will actually have a issue. Mines a March build and I looked at mine and it’s more then perfect. So I’m not to concerned. Not gonna waste my time until I have to take it for something else. Or if it starts to just a dab of glue and she’s good to go.

The recall is applicable to my truck. I looked and there is no issue with loose insulation on my truck.

Ya I’m not wasting my time taking it in for this if there is no issue.

Mine hasn’t yet. But it shows that it has it on the online owners portal.
