I have a 2022 F-150. When Google Maps starts it defaults with the 2 suggestions I have marked with the bracket. If I touch the up arrow next to Search these suggestions hide. Is there a way to make these 2 suggestions hidden by default?
Before your phone connects to Android Auto, go into Maps app, go to the user icon on the top right and enable Incognito Mode. Then, when your phone connects to Android Auto, your maps app will have a tiny banner across the top showing Incognito Mode and the search field will be empty without those 2 recent suggestions showing beneath it.

Thank you, that did work but seems to be a pretty drastic solution. It also turns off any access to saved places such as Stared, Favorites, etc.
How do those two route suggestions let you know to take a different route?
the addresses will be green yellow or red times based on traffic. If its green the most direct route has no traffic if its yellow or red it has more traffic. If you look Work has a yellow time and Bracka has a green time
