Default Adding Tow Mirrors

Looking to upgrade to tow mirrors on my 21 Lariat. I tried searching and didn't the answers I'm looking for, if someone has answered this if you can link me to the thread that would be great.
Anyways, looking at OE FORD tow mirrors with power adjust and power fold (Fairway Ford is selling sets on eBay). I asked them if it was plug and play and they said it would have to be programmed after installation. Can anyone tell me if that can be done through forscan, needs to be done at the dealer , etc.
thanks

Look at boostautoparts.com, they have tons of options and are reasonably priced!

I literally just posed info about boost auto. I highly recommend going that route over OEM.

Did you successfully do the swap to boost tow mirrors? If so do you have some pics? Thanks

I too have a '21 Lariat (502A) I swapped to OEM tow mirrors. The install is very easy (4 bolts per side). I took my time and it literally was 15mins/side including removing the stock mirrors. The folks at Fairway are very helpful and the price is very reasonable. Yes, you can use Forscan and the values are in the spreadsheet. Essentially, you have to enable the extension capability...

I wish somebody made an extending regular mirror instead of the always wide giant towing mirrors..... That would be perfect.....

i actually prefer the tow mirrors. I had the standard mirrors on my 2017 and went with tow mirrors to get a little more viewing angle but also thought they looked better. Took about a week to get used to them. Picked up this truck 2 weeks ago and feel like I can't see anything around me.
