Default 4 1/2" Rake??

Just bought a 2024 RCSB 5.0 2wd and it looks like a plane headed for landing. Local front end shop recommends nothing more than a 2.5 lift up front. That would leave me with 2" left assuming I get a full 2.5" out of lift. Sooo, I guess drop shackles in back also? I wouldn't mind an inch of rake but this looks ridiculous. Also, are there meaningful differences in puck spacers? Some are around $50, on up to $230. What are other RCSB owners doing to keep things level?

Pull the rear blocks. 2" pucks up front with that and you should be good. Or a rear shackle 1.25" drop as well.

Yeah, mine is 2wd, don't think it has blocks. Has anyone bought a 2024 2wd RCSB and had it leveled?

Just measuring from center of wheel well to ground. Pic isn't perfect angle to show the rake but it's raining outside.

It all depends on what you goals are, lift and bigger tires or lower and a street truck look. I've ran the belltech shackle 6426 in my 2020 and gave me about 1.5" of drop without cutting the bed support. My 2022 screw 4x4 has 4" of rake too but haven't decided how I'm going to lower it yet. You could put a 2" front leveling in and be really close to level or the shackle drop in the rear for the same effect. Adding a tonneau cover or other thing to the bed will drop the rake a bit too depending on the weight. I like to have about 1.5" of rake it looks really close to level but don't have the nose high look when theres weight in the back. You could also do a 2/4 drop with the axle flip or just the rear but the it will be too low in the rear with just the axle flip and need at least 1-2" of drop in the front.

Yeah, I guess I"ll start with a 2 or 2.5" lift up front and go from there. Gonna need some bigger wheels and tires to fill up that space

I load it. Realize that lifts and larger tires will adversely effect performance and efficiency. And loading a leveled truck means you'll now be dragging the tail. I see it every day. If you're ok with that move forward.

That rake is how Ford used soft longer travel springs in back to soften the ride. But if you do not load much or pull a trailer I understand. Measuring to the wheel arch does not reflect the rake correctly as the front arch is higher than the rear, Measure to the roll under of the body panels for better accuracy.
I have a 2017 XL 2WD RCSB. A 1.75 inch front lift and about 300 pounds in the bed results in a 1 inch difference front to back measured at the bottom body curve.

I used a quite expensive method to level mine with adjustable pre-load Icon coil-overs in front and stock height in back, I wanted the better handling and got it! No idea about using pucks. KM
