Default 2023 Front end issues!

I so regret buying this truck if I could get out of this deal I would. The front end is making a horrible noise on cold mornings and it’s not so much the issue that makes me have the regret it’s the way the dealer talked to me about the issue. Like I was an idiot or something. I haven’t even owned it a week yet. I work on equipment for a living I know when something is wrong and the front end on this truck is intermittently destroying itself. I was not worried when I took it in there gave them all the information very calmly and the service guy acted like an arrogant ***. Now I’m worried this is going to be a **** show I can already see how this is going to play out. They have the truck now and the dealership GM talked to me and gave me a loaner and talked to the service guy so we will see what the outcome is. But apparently this front end issue is happening to many 2023 trucks and I was wondering if anyone on here works for Ford or has any additional information about this issue?

This has been discussed on here. The truck is programmed to kick in the EIWE's for 2 minutes in cold weather to circulate the front diff fluid. You're another in a long string of very unhappy campers.

I read that and asked the dealer about it and they didn’t know anything about that. I wasn’t sure if that was a fact or not. Has your truck experienced this? My 2021 never did this and it’s bad enough to where I would think there is no way it could have been designed in as normal operation with this noise.it’s bad the first morning it happened I pulled over thought the trucks transmission was going out I could feel it in the pedal. Something has to be malfunctioning in that system

Mine is a 2022 XLT and I haven't had these issues. I'm at 41k miles and this is my second winter with the truck.

The trucks have been programmed this way (IWE’s Engaged on startup) for years, there is something else going on.

Not saying you're wrong. But most of of the complaints center around the 2023 model year trucks, no?

What model and year are you talking about? 2wd or 4wd?
how about demonstrating the noise?

Yes it does appear that most of the complaints center around the 2023. I traded in a 2021 for my 2023 Heritage and my 2021 didn’t do it. I don’t think the problem is the fact that it’s programmed to do the diff warming feature. It’s that the hubs are not disengaging cleanly at the end of this “cycle” when it’s really cold outside. due to something that’s changed between 2022 and now. Could be a component change or supplier I don’t know. My guess it would also do this noise switching out of 4wd when the truck is cold in cold weather as well. It’s not going to be cold next week where I’m at so I know when the dealer looks at it Monday they are going to tell me nothings wrong.

I have a ‘21 and I don’t believe my truck has ever done this. It’s the first I’ve heard it suggested that the fronts engage to warm the fluid. If this is a feature is there notice on the dash anywhere while engaged that this is the case? Like a 4Hi or 4Auto light on?
