Default 2023 build dates

Anyone receive a build date for thier 2023 F150? Looks like they should have started yesterday. Unfortunately all I got was the dreaded "supply chain issue" letter. My order was placed on 7/19 for a lariat short bed crew only option was the 5.0 v8.

I haven't seen any bulletins from Ford regarding 2023 production dates. For MY 2022, production began on November 15,, 2021 at Ford’s Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan, and at the Kansas City Assembly Plant on December 6, 2021. Some MY 2021 orders were converted to 2022 MY orders. Total speculation, but my guess is that Ford stopped taking MY 2022 orders early so they can build all 2022 orders and change over to MY 2023 in the October/November time frame.

And it'll get pushed again. Almost sure of that.

Just got my email this afternoon. My 2023 XLT is scheduled to be built the week of October 17th. Ordered it the first week of august. These guys commenting with the “you’ll be waiting a while”stuff have absolutely no clue what they’re talking about. Stay patient I’m sure you’ll hear something soon.

Ahh, I remember those days fondly. The order placed in early March, the email a month later saying it'll be built at the beginning of May... then emails that seemed to come every two weeks after that pushing the production date back 2-3 weeks at a time, the order tracking website that seems to have stopped responding all together lately, listing my truck as "In production" when it does bother to load... I still don't have a truck.

I really hope you get your truck ASAP, but do you really think your truck is getting built before the long queue of MY22s are built and delivered? Not to mention the priority of those poor souls who get the email saying their 2022 simply isn't getting built and to replace an order for a 2023? If I were a betting man, I'd say your truck will show up next February to March.
