Yes I was nervous as well… I’ve never did something like this to a new truck before but it wasn’t that bad. I also added ambient lighting which required sliding the center console back but it was easy too just take it slow is what I found.

 

I had that issue on my '21 for about 3 months back when I first got it. Received one of the 1st OTAs and it corrected itself and his been working fine since.

 

Sorry for the dumb newb question here, but what is an OTA?

Yes there are some TSBs for 21s and 22s but mine is a later 22 and the TSBs don’t apply. I’m ready to get it fixed.

 

Same here. I drive 3K a month between HOU, DFW, the Valley, etc. I actually use my compass.

 

My '21 xlt had the same issue with the compass working sporadically. I had my APIM replaced for a blank screen issue and so far, the compass has been working 100%.

 

They ordered me a new APIM but still waiting. My coworkers is doing the same so maybe there is a bad batch of APIMs?

 

I just need to take it in again and ask them for a new APIM.

 

I’ve been waiting for three weeks even have a Ford Customer Specialist helping trying to get the part. I hear there are no 22 APIMs so who knows how long I will be waiting.
